Speech task

First of all hello to all of my animals, thank you for being present in such a special day for all of us. You might be asking why, why is this so important, and it is not something very easy to say, but an obligation after all. This thing is the fact that the animals that govern us, those who claim to want a fair society between all of us, and even more than fair, equal, those hypocrite leaders we have, have been lying to us all this time, and not just that, but also mistreated some animals of the farm for not obeying what they were commanded to do. These animals were the hens, which were mistreated by the pigs because of not wanting to give their eggs to the pigs, wich wanted to sell them instead of giving them to us. Also these horrendous liers sleep in beds, thing that was stated especifically not to be done since the beggining. But if we want to talk about lies then its obligatory to mention to all of you that these lies were made by Napoleon, our leader and supposses guide. This hypocrite killed Boxer, brainwashed all of us and took advantage, cheated all of us by saying something and then changing it for the benefit of himself.
With all that said my fellows and equally hurt animals, I propose to all of you to face him, confront him with all the hatred and resentment you feel right now. To start a revolution so we can finally bring him down and the most important thing, make him pay for what he did to all of us.
Afterwards, we must create a new type of government which must be honest, crystal clear, organized and most important, equal for all of us. But to create this prosperous future, we"ll need the support of every single one of you, let's fight for our freedom, equality and prosperity my brothers!

Rationale

This novel is about two afghan kids and the things that occurs to them, Amir and Hassan. During the book something terrible happens to Hassan, Amir knows it and doesn't do anything, so he feels guilty. This guilt makes Hassan and his father leave the house of Amir, after that they don't see each other again. Then Amir and Baba have to leave Afghanistan because of the soviet invasion, they go to USA, were Baba dies and Amir gets married. Finally Amir discovers Hassan was his brother, and that he was murdered, but he gets another opportunity to do things right: to bring Hassan´s son with him
In the written asignment I wrote a news report. Which describes all the situation behind the kite tournament, this news report contains the reason of why both of them did it, facts about the tournament, and a controversial situation between Hassan and Amir, were Amir lies and Hassan outrages, spreading the truth to everyone he can, via me, the reporter.
The aim of this news report is to tell the real truth behind the reasons of Amir putting all the effort to win the kite tournament, also: give important facts about the tournament.
The best way to achieve it is via news report (in a formal register) because it gives you the liberty to express opinions and facts as you want, the best combination possible to give a message or letting something to know; also gives you the faculty to introduce things characters said, via quotes or saying you asked them

Kite tournament news report

Kite tournament was fantastisch
By: Vicente Figueroa, 5th June 1975, Kabul
To start with this news report, what basically happened is that two kids, best friends, one of them a Hazara and the other one a Pashtun won their first kite tournament where their performances in it were absolutely splendid, done with a lot of effort and also talent, plus a perfect chemistry between them equals the perfect combination to win everything they can imagine and set as a goal.
This huge event happened last thursday here, in the city of Kabul. The reason of why they did it is basically because of fun, but even more than that is because that is what both of them wanted more than anything, it is what every kid in Kabul wants more. But for Amir this tournament was much more than those things. When I asked him after the kite tournament he told me something he considered very personal, and it was that the reason, he gave everything in the tournament so he could win, was because he wanted to gain his father's respect, he wanted  Baba, his father, to consider him a man and not the sensitive kid that was the complete opossite of him.
This kite tournament was the 100th anniversary, so then it was the most special one, but not just that, despite, from being the most special and important kite tournament amongst all its story, it is also the most difficult one, the one with the highest level of competitiveness: because since this tournament is the most special one then it is going to have the most skillful kite flyers across the whole country, including the team that has won the past 15 years in a row, excluding that fact, this tournament was the most numerous one, with more than 200 of the best kite flyers across the country.
Unlike what Amir told me after the kite tournament and which I also just wrote, there is Hassan's opinnion. Hassan said that the real reason of why Amir and him did it so well in the tournament, gave them what they wanted: the precious victory. Was because the tournament is what every kid in Kabul wants the most, and because it was also their dream and for what they had trained so much. But the important thing here is that Hassan told me that Amir was lying, his real reason, the one he considered very personal, was just a lie, he didn't want to gain his father's respect, or show him he was a real man; he just wanted to do it for himself, to have something to be proud of and specially to brag. This is because some kids last week were bothering him, Assef and his gang as Hassan told me telling him that he was a looser, someone that have nothing but money, and of course that was property of his father, so then he didn't have nothing: useless kid, sensitive and the shame of his family; after all that he had to intervene (Hassan) threating them with his slingshot, after that the bullies ran as fast as they could.
After that he told me that I had to tell the truth to everyone, he was completely mad, even furious, he was dissapointed and with that, outraged at Amir, because he didn't tell the truth, he was just covering with something cute and kind from him, while the truth was that he was just selfish, and that is not the way it should be.

e-mackay task 1

I´d conduct the cloning of humans to a good side, the side of creation, progress and social welfare and the right things for humanity, the way I would do this, is by cloning humans, but not just any human, only the ones who are considered "good" and with this I mean people who are correct about what they think, ethic; in this way all the clones would be correct, people who are good, in this way all the bad thing in earth woud disappear, as cruelty, corruption and other things. I think it is more important to clone the first human ever and finally I would not let the world to know about my experiments, i would just keep it secret, because if I do the opossite then my experiments would become very controversial around the world, and I wouldnt be able to do them again

Fairtrade

Fairtrades
The other day I was shopping with my friends at the mall and I found a chocolate bar 10% more expensive than  a comparable chocolate bar, because it had the fairtrade mark on it.
I explained them the reason of this thing, this "system"; which is because, fairtrades charge a higher price for the products they sell because that percentage goes to the farmers that create the product.
a fairtrade is kind of an organization that buys products from very small farms and entrepreneurs, and then selling them by their own, but this: "by their own" refers to the fairtrades, which are extremely big and powerful. Basically they help people who have a small business by globalizing their products, so then this is very helpful for them.
In conclusion this fairtrades are very helpful to people who need, to spread their products and name all around the world

kite runner correction

Winter 1975
Dear Ali, my father

First of all I want to say how regretful I am to tell you this, for being so coward that I couldn´t even told you this earlier. Lately I´ve been feeling so bad, I´ve felt sad, coward, ashamed and most of all afraid. You might be asking something like, what is this all about, and well dad... The truth is that I got raped, something that I´m gonna explain to you more detailed after.
Basically, I got raped for being loyal to my best friend Amir, who also hasn´t been nice to me, for not saying, the worst friend in the world, maybe because he presenced my rape, did he get traumatized?, dont know but something I do, is that all he wants is to get me out of his life, he has been so mean me that I don´t even know what his problem is, but I guess he just can´t stand the fact of watching a rape and doing anything to stop it, so then he can´t stand how coward he was.
About how I got raped, it happened because Assef, a guy who I threatened so that he wouldn´t bother us anymore, was looking for revenge and told me to give him Amir´s kite, which he used to win the tournament, but then I threw him a rock, which made him furious, then he told the guys to take me forcedly so he could rape men thing that he did afterwards.
In conclusion, now that I todl you I  feel very relieved, becauseI know you are gonna support me
Best wishes.
Hassan

1-this graffiti is in USA, and its target are muslims, telling them that they are not welcome there

http://resources3.news.com.au/images/2013/10/01/1226730/690131-20e0d338-2a25-11e3-9c7c-7bd717e0175f.jpg
2-
its meaning is that the skin colour isn't important, that we are all the same and that the skin colour doesn't make us different, the target audience is everyone that can read, everyone if possible
https://andycox57.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/racism.jpg

3-This man is different because he is from a different race, he´s black, this kind of race is´nt common in this country so the I personally think that besides of his different ethnicity he´d fit well in our society, and by fit I mean that he would be respected and accepted., the same  for my personal environment for example
https://ionenewsone.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/steve_harvey.jpg
4-A discriminatory incident that happened in my school was about a bunch of kids that were bothering with funny nickname another kid, this thing happened everyday for 2 weeks, they were putting some funny and offensive nicknames to him because of his skin colour and his similarity to a famous person, that this "bullies" considered ugly or unnatractive, this thing stopped when he really got upset and told them, they never bothered him again.
5-The comment or statement that miss Juanita gave us about what she really thinks of racism and discrimination was that it´s something tremendously stupid and ignorant because, not because your skin, hair and eyes colour might be lighter than someone else it means you´re better than him, not because you were born in a "better" country then it means you´re better than someone else, because the value of human beings consist on their own action, not physical attributes
6-The topic of discrimination in this movie is presented with the terrible, extremely sad and macabre slavery that was located in the south of the United States, the horryfing things that were done by the "owners" of the slaves, all the things that they had to suffer, and how one escaped and became a free man, looking for revenge for all the horrible things he had to go through. This movie is Django, by Quentin Tarantino
